Laying the SMACK DOWN

WWE was just in Sarnia on Monday August 18th and all I have to say is ‘OH MY
GOD’. I mean OH MY
GOD the BIG SHOW is freaken huge, OH MY GOD what a Bikini match, and OH MY GOD
the Sound system at the SSEC really sucks.
Everyone knows
Wrestling is not ‘real’ fighting, well everyone but that one person reading this
screaming at the computer screen “NO IT AIN’T, YOU SUCK! IT AIN’T FAKE, SHUT UP
KODIAC.” Well I hate to burst that one persons bubble but the first couple of
matches at this last show would not leave any doubt in your mind. Understanding
that its not entirely real
and realizing that no matter how many times you fall
you are going to still be sore, but the wrestlers are showmen and as good
showmen they could of at least made the punches and kicks look a little more
real. Also most of the Wrestlers were a lot smaller than I thought; I guess the
TV cameras don’t just add 10lbs but also about 10 inches in height as well. Some
of the wrestlers were big like Albert, Bradshaw and Furuq were a decent size,
but some others were just awesome. Brock is massive and the BIG SHOW was FREAKEN
HUGE, I mean his head was the size of a microwave oven and his hands looked like
Catchers Mitts. The Big Show is 7 Feet and over 500 lbs, and looking at these
numbers is nothing compared to seeing him up close. The most impressive move of
the night besides the Bikini Girls dropping their robes would have had to of
been when Brock picked up Big Show on his shoulders and spun him around
delivering the F5, it looked like Brock wasn’t even trying hard to hoist this
man Giant on his shoulders.
I better mention about the Bikini match for our male readers between the ages of 15 and 45. The Bikini match was riot, as soon as Nydia, Dawn Marie, Sable, and Victoria were out in the Ring the place went nuts. Sable had a keen eye and pointed out that Nydia’s Bikini top was padded then proceeded to pull out the stuffing, thus disqualifying Nydia from competing further, which was alright by me since Nydia looked like an epileptic getting electrocuted when she tried to dance for the competition. So then it was down to Dawn Marie, Sable and Victoria to finish the competition and not going into great detail about their dimensions or what they were wearing but lets just say the ring was a mini ‘Thong City’ and the Ladies were easy on the eyes. Victoria ended up getting the loudest applause thus winning the Bikini match, course with all the puppies in the ring I don’t think you could call Sable or Dawn Marie losers.
The sound system really sucked and this was probably the only bad thing to report about the night. This old bear’s ears aren’t what they use to be with all the concerts I have been to, but the speakers at the SSEC made all the intro music sound like a pimple faced kid confirming your order at a drive thru. SSEC is a great arena and there really wasn’t a bad seat in the place for the event but they should invest in a better system to pump out the songs and announcements.
Tickets were $18 for the top of the bowl $23 for the bottom of the bowl and on the floor and sides were $53. These prices weren’t that bad but I don’t think it was fair to have $53 tickets for seating on the sides of the arena.
All and all Kodiac gives this event 2 claws up, and I can’t wait for the next one.
